God of War Review

La saga God of War, hasta ahora, se ha mantenido muy cerca de los estándares establecidos en el juego original del año 2005. Más de una década más tarde, tiene sentido que Sony quiera mezclar las cosas para la serie mítica del género hack and slash. El nuevo God of War se sumerge en el pozo de los juegos de rol de mundo abierto. También cambia su enfoque a la mitología nórdica, desechando a los dioses y leyendas griegos icónicos que proporcionaron la base para cada juego anterior. ¡Una revolución!

Estos cambios significativos no precisan el final de God of War tal como lo conocemos, sino que permiten que el ADN de la saga se exprese de nuevas maneras.

Kratos ha experimentado algunos cambios muy revolucionarios. Un ícono furioso y sediento de sangre se ha transformado en una figura paterna sensible. Parte de él conserva las viejas tendencias violentas que lo convirtieron en una estrella hace mucho tiempo.

Sin embargo, con su hijo pequeño Atreus para proteger y guiar, también vemos a Kratos respirar profundamente y enterrar sus instintos salvajes para dar un ejemplo positivo.

Ver a Kratos cuidar de la sensibilidad de su hijo al principio se siente un poco discordante, pero gracias a la escritura natural, los actores de voz adecuados y la animación perfecta, es fácil dejarse atrapar por el viaje del dúo y apreciar su crecimiento mutuo.
