Nuestra historia comienza en el purgatorio, donde Rei Hatada, nuestro personaje, despierta después de haber perdido la conciencia. En ese sitio se reúnen todas las almas de las personas que han ido muriendo y Rei no tiene ni la menor idea de cómo ha llegado ahí.

En ese sitio se encuentra con su hermana menor, Mirai, a quien jura protección hasta que encuentre la manera de irse de ahí. Suceden una serie de eventos que involucran un ente monstruoso, que hacen que Mirai caiga a un vacío y Rei entra en cólera por no haber cumplido su palabra de protección.

Nuestro personaje se llena de valor y decide entrar en ese inframundo a buscar a Mirai. Otra serie de eventos extraños suceden cuando Rei vuelve a encontrar a su hermana, que incluso hacen que la hiera y su alma se esfume. Al poco tiempo aparecen un par de personajes, Mephis y Pheles, quienes a cambio de la firma de un contrato, aseguran que ayudaran a Rei a traer de vuelta a su hermana.

Durante la aventura tendremos que recuperar 7 cristales que son llamados “Idea”. El objetivo del juego es claro: salvar a Mirai. Para ello estaremos inmersos en diferentes capítulos, cada uno con diferentes temas y que son la representación de las diferentes fases del purgatorio. Durante esa travesía pelearemos con entidades llamadas Revenants y algunos espectros. Igualmente tendremos aliados que nos darán luz en el camino hacia el alma de Mirai.

Son varios los tipos de enemigos que iremos viendo nivel a nivel. Los espectros son las almas de personas cuya energía mutó en monstruos. Los Revenants son las almas de personas que aun conservan algo de conciencia humana y se nutren de otras almas para intentar volver a la vida.

Este juego cuenta con una serie de características novedosas y efectos aumentados que harán que nuestra experiencia y usabilidad sean plenas. Estaremos equipados con sentimientos y esencias que pueden ser del tipo refuerzo, de agresión o de protección.

Al pasar el juego la historia no se queda ahí, logrando regresar a las diferentes fases del purgatorio a seguir realizando misiones o retos. Un juego que no es la reinvención en su género pero que tiene un estilo de combate que hala.

Muchos juegos como este gozan de mayores ventajas a nivel técnico, pero este tiene lo necesario para que nos sumerjamos en una trama fabulosa y que a la larga se nos vuelve adictiva. Personajes bien estructurados y buena banda sonora, hace que este juego merezca nuestra atención. Ideal para personas de más de 12 años.
